Hans earned the Grandmaster title in 2021 and went on to win the World Open chess tournament in Philadelphia.

Hans Niemann Cheating Method

Hans was recently accused of cheating during a game with Magnus Carlsen.

Carlsen said Hans had “cheated more than he has publicly admitted”, but he provided no evidence to back up his claims.

Hans however denied the allegations.

Hans began playing chess at age 8.

In 2012, Hans made it to the Dutch National Youth Chess Championship. His Elo rating rose from 2450 to 2650 within a space of three years.

He also participated in the US tournament, the SuperNationals V and the PRO Chess League.

Other competitions he took part include the Las Vegas Desert Rats (2017), Saint Louis Arch Bishops (2019) and Norway Gnomes (2020).

He currently ranks world number 6 in the world Junior category and number 45 in the overall world ranking.
